Executive Dietitian/ Owner

I am Donna DeCaille. In a lot of ways, I am your average working mother, but when it comes to nutrition, I am very out of the box. I do not believe in just giving you tools without the skills to use them. I believe in working with my clients until they have all the tools and skills they need to live the healthiest lifestyle they can. I have been a dietitian for over 20 years. In that length of time, nutrition has gone from looking not so important to being crucial to health and healing, but trust me, way into my middle school years I fell in love with the amazing interaction of science with food and the inner body. At that point, I knew there was no turning back.

Most people prefer to call me a nutritionist, and that's fine by me. Just for clarification, a dietitian and a nutritionist are very different. In terms of training and education, a dietitian has a depth of training and human physiology, medicine, chronic disease, and the nutrients in food (water, amino acids, proteins, and carbs). A registered dietitian is a 5 year or more professional tract. To be a nutritionist, that level of training is not regulated. Recently our profession agreed that we could use a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN).
